Peta-Joy has been painting since before she can remember, Art has always been a major part of her life. She has been lucky enough to have her work used for many different things, such as gifts for the hockey world cup, posters, Christmas cards, skateboards, cd covers and much more.

PJ has been a finalist for the student art prize while studying her diploma of fine arts at the Eora Centre of TAFE in Chippendale.

PJ recently won the Bayside Council inaugural First Nations Art Competition. Her Weaving was featured as a projection on Leichhardt town hall to kick off Reconciliation week 2021.

Her work has been on display in many major galleries around Australia and she has numerous murals around NSW
